Well, I didn’t plan this one too well. Since we traveled to Haiti on our cruise I’m banned from giving blood for one year even though we visited a private island. That being said, I won’t have enough time to accomplish this task before my 1001 days is up. Bummer.

Make a Monogrammed Picture

I’ve always wanted to create a monogrammed picture. While I was in Florida I saw something similar to this and knew I could re-create it. Just a trip to Home Depot and I was ready to go. This was created with the help of my husband. I’m not the best with power tools.

Volunteer Through Church

My husband and I started attending a local church at the beginning of the year but haven’t gotten involved yet. I took my first step and this weekend, I started volunteering with the 1 year old class at church and will be doing so every Sunday every other month. I had a great time and can’t wait to volunteer again next Sunday!

This year, we were lucky enough to score 4 free tickets to the Indy 500. I’d been to this race only once in the past and wanted to take my husband to his first one as well. Thankfully we were in the shade the whole time!
